Today was a do nothing day. Since we have such a nice view from our room we decided to enjoy the things we could see. We went to the pool. We had lunch, and we rode some waves at the beach.

For dinner we headed to Lahaina for dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise and got shave ice to share for dessert. (For clarification, Rylie got shave ice, and we all “shared.”  Spent time with family afterwards.

So I got caught sneaking a bite…

And mixed in there we made a stop at Safeway for food, got caught in the rain with the convertible top down, and rescued a gecko from our hallway by taking him outside.

He was so small, but relaxed while I was holding him. Granted, it was likely out fear.

Pretty much a great low key day. Tomorrow we head for Hana for a while and get to travel the world’s curviest road. Super fun.
