Last Day in Page

Which really is okay. For all the beauty in the surrounding area, this really isn’t a great place. The hotels are run down, very limited options for food, and high tension power lines everywhere. While the mesas and scrub trees are unique and scenic, I find myself missing the large trees and real mountains around Flagstaff.

I’m excited for Antelope Canyon and the uniqueness of that experience. But I will be excited to leave this area too. Although I am sad that it signifies an end to part of the trip, the landscape here seems inhospitable, harsh, and in some ways hopeless. I’ve enjoyed it here, but it isn’t someplace I’d want to live.

  1. The wondrous with the less impressive together; like life, it is the experience that counts. You are, and will, make the most of it, using the positive to enhance the time there and your memories while filtering the rest in a fitting manner.Mo
